Hopefully picking mine up this Monday. My trade dropped in value since ordering truck about 3 months ago. So I walked out of dealer and by the time I get home they magically contact me and take more than supplier pricing off of msrp. So about 12k can be taken off of MSRP. But they also had an all Black one without the AEV pkg. that is 10k cheaper. It has all the options I ordered except the high idle switch!

Great to see a dealer doing this. One quibble, this would be an astounding car for someone doing 150 miles per day…if they put the high amperage charger in the garage… My Bolt has 99,900 miles. First scheduled maintenance at 105k miles. These new machines fix my biggest beef with the bolt-fast charging speed. Last comment: MSRP of my Bolt was 42k in 2018. The Equinox is a size or two larger and after 6 years of inflation it’s $42k!

Really happy to see a dealer trying to push EVs! I actually bought a Bolt from you all a few months ago and had a great experience. However -- all your notes on charging are a bit pessimistic. The example you gave was charging 20 miles a day to work. Which you said would take 4 hours to charge. And you said level 2 would be 5-6 kw. Most home chargers are 40a or 9.6kw. The Blazer EV is rated for 2.85 mi/kwh So a 20 mile commute would use 7 kwh. On a 5-6 kw charger like you said, that's a little over 1 hour to charge. On most home chargers, it would take about 45 minutes. I wouldn't expect most consumers to know these numbers yet, but it scares people when you imply they can only handle 20 miles a day like that! And you said in your video that "this is not made for people that are probably driving 150-200 miles every day". Why not? That would be a great use case so long as they have a level 2 charger at home! I get the tone of the video is trying to sell while being realistic. But don't sell your own product short!

We have taken our Bolt EUV camping with tents. With the seats down, it loads up well for accessing all of our gear. We added a hitch (stealth) for our bike rack and a Thule roof rack to carry our canoe and/or kayaks. It is a well built and designed vehicle. Others have said it better but it appears that GM for all it's issue finally let the engineers actually do their job and the result is very good.
